Sierra-Cascades Yearly Meeting welcomes to membership local meetings and individuals who desire to participate in worship, ministry, and/or service as we seek to experience and follow Christ in the manner of Friends. Friends of any age are welcome to request membership. We will be contacting you soon to follow up.

Membership for individuals. An individual may apply for direct membership in SCYMF. If you as an individual are interested in joining Sierra-Cascades Yearly Meeting of Friends, and are not already active in a member meeting, please email clerks@scymf.org or complete the form on this page.
Active members of a Sierra-Cascades member meeting/church are already considered members of Sierra-Cascades and do not have to apply for membership.
Membership of Local Meetings/Churches. We welcome applications for membership of Friends meetings/churches.
To be eligible for membership, local meetings must be incorporated and maintain good standing under state law. The first step is to communicate in writing with the presiding co-clerks, expressing a desire to join. Local meetings are admitted by approval at a Sierra-Cascades business meeting. Prior to the business meeting, the Presiding Clerk or designee will meet with the local meeting seeking to join in order to answer questions, speak to concerns or otherwise assist in the discernment about membership.
